- Do I need landscaping ?

Obvously this varies from project to project. We design your property to fit your budget. Larger jobs are
broken down into strategic phases so you may implement the entire landscape over time. Once installed a tastful

of any home improvement.
- How long does a project take to complete ?
Again, this all depends on the size of the job. A simple foundation planting can be completed in a couple of days,
while landscaping a large property with a pool area, patios and a driveway may take months to complete. In the
estimating phase we can evaluate the tasks needed to install the landscape plan and determine a realistic time frame.
- Do I need a drawn plan ? Are there fees for the landscape plan ?
Most of our jobs requires plans. Small, quick jobs may not need one. We do charge a fee for our plans.
We take great care and pride in designing an accurate and creative landscape plan to accommodate your wants
and needs. Using AutoCAD (computer added design) we produce a precise, professional site plan. Landscape
Techniques has talented, college-trained designers that help bring your ideas to reality. Plan fees generally
accounts for one to four percent of the total project cost. An accurate detailed plan can save thousands of
dollars in oversights and wrong measurements that would result in additional costs.
- What is the process ?
The process starts by meeting with the homeowner to discuss ideas and needs for their property. We then create a base plan
from the survey of the property. Measurements are taken on site with elevations and added to the base plan. The design
process begins by implementing the ideas discussed and a preliminary plan is formulated with an estimate of costs. Once
we have fine-tuned the plan and chosen our materials we can start the installation.
